Here's a collection of flat rides that would look awesome if anyone would want to take on the challenge of creating these for RCT3. Purpose: Centrepiece for Main Street area If you're interested, just shoot me a PM, as I'd really love to see these cars come to life. Would any CTR creator be willing to work with me to bring a CTR that could benefit many creators in the long run to life? With the the media and reasons provided above, along with some additional sketches of the car I give to someone. I believe this darkride car would look much better and be able to naviage through compact darkride spaces much more smoothly than the larger CTRs. This plain colored darkride car would be applicable to many creators who might want to add a darkride to a park or project, but do not want to use the somewhat bulky looking AP-DR or Mystic Mover (No offense here, they are both great CTRs). I'm just talking about a car like the one seen here: While I know RR has the Mystic Mover, the car doesn't fit all scenery. I've been trying to get ahold of a decent, plain rotating darkride car, similar to the type of car used on Sally Corp's Nights In White Satin: The Trip. I don 't want to sound like a begger or some person who willy-nilly throws out a request with no logic behind me, so CTR creators, hear me out on this one. The speed was fairly slow, but these were conssidered a 'thrill' ride back then! These were fairly simple rides, they rotated around the central post, slowly rising and the centrifical force swung them out slightly as they rotated. Here's how it looked after Rhiaan tweaked the textures. But if there is someone out there who knows flat-ride creationing who might be willing to give this a try I'd be happy to pass on the model and the textures. The center pole hasn't been modeled, nor any sort of motor to raise it. Needless to say I've not yet made that jump, I've never figured out Blender.

It's been sitting on my computer for months as I had planned to learn how to create a CFR with it. I modeled it in SketchUp, then CTRSind was nice enough to work on the texture for me, but that's as far as it got. Quote from: wabigbear on January 31, 2012, 02:36 PM Some time ago I made a model for an old-time "Aerial Swings" ride, based on one that was at Luna Park, Coney Island early in the last century.
